Introduced my friend to Reel Big Fish while there, he thought they were fucking awesome. I agreed, one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen. Sum 41 was great as well.
Aaron Barnett was also fucking hammered, it was hilarious.
Oh yeah, we saw Shaggy perform as well. He said something like “when you’re talking to Hillary Clinton she says it wasn’t me.”

I’m going to the sabroso taco festival (lots of bands, look it up if you haven’t heard of it) in May (I think) and am expecting to get rained on, this being the PNW after all.

Love all of those. Lit was my teenage years and The Vandals are just great in general.

I saw sum 41 when in 2000 when they were the opening act for the opening act (flogging Molly, who was amazing) for mighty mighty bosstones, at Nola house of blues. Great show all around.

I’m planning to go see Reel Big Fish this summer at the final Warped Tour. I’m excited as all fuck and plan on feeling ancient after a day of stomping around at a festival in July. It will be awesome!

RBF is one of those bands that I don’t particularly care for their music but I love their live shows. I worked their shows in 2005 and 06 and had a great time.

I love the music, but them being super lively and cool makes it even more awesome. Somebody chucked some beads at one of the guys and he just caught them and put them on, no biggie.

It was! Became a flogging Molly fan on the spot. It was my very first show in new Orleans and we didn’t know any better, do we showed up as the door opened. Got lucky with sum 41. Could’ve easily been nobody.

I caught RBF about 3 years ago and it was a blast. Those guys know how to not take themselves too seriously.
